Centre Requirements
We are thrilled to assist you in becoming an approved centre. Our shared objective is to guarantee the provision of top-quality qualifications. Here is how you can prepare and submit the required evidence to satisfy our approval standards.
Capacity and Capability
We will evaluate whether your centre has the required resources, infrastructure, and expertise to effectively deliver our qualifications. These include:
- qualified and experienced staff.
- appropriate facilities and equipment.
Quality Assurance Procedures
Your centre should implement strong quality assurance measures to maintain consistency and accuracy in assessment and grading. At ASFI, we will evaluate your assessment procedures, internal verification, and standardization processes.
Staff Qualifications
Your teaching and assessment staff should meet our qualifications and experience
requirements.
Staff Roles and Responsibilities
It is essential to clearly define, assign, and ensure staff understand their roles and responsibilities in the delivery/assessment and claims process at your center. Appointing key staff members as the main contacts for relevant ASFI departments will improve collaboration.
Data Protection and Confidentiality
Establish procedures to manage learner data in accordance with data protection laws. Ensure that learner information and assessment results are securely stored and handled confidentially, whether stored online or as physical documents.
Learner Support
Assist learners throughout their educational journey by providing appropriate guidance and help, including information on assessment requirements, advancement opportunities, and extra support.
Access Arrangements and Special Consideration
Implement procedures to support learners with disabilities, special educational needs, or additional access needs during assessments.
Appeals and Complaint Procedures
Establish transparent, clear and accessible procedures for learners to appeal assessment decisions and make complaints.
As part of our onboarding process, we will examine your policies related to appeals and complaints. Additionally, we will review other existing policies at your centre and provide confirmation of these policies before the onboarding meeting. We are here to support you throughout this journey.
